The setting is five years from the scenario in the current arc - with the additional conclusions of : 1. Sasuke appears to die [whether or not in a sudden guilty bout of sacrifice, I can't decide. ;;] 2. Sound Village and Orochimaru were defeated, survivors were driven underground [figuratively] 3. Five years later, in this present, narrative events find Naruto alone, in an underground cavern... [literally]

This is crazy. I sat down to do the entire thing in one shot at around midnight, it's 9.30am now. It's probably been one of the worst weeks in my life. X__x Next week's the last school week before exams, this week had been full of major assignments. But I was really really keen on submitting for the Naruto FanClub March contest because of a really wicked idea I had that I really wanted to do. [*cough* This. ;] I've had a total of around seven hours of sleep all week...

If you've ever wanted to see how crappy my drawing can get when I'm not paying anal-retentive attention, this is it. ; I'm in the middle of a major artblock, and I think the first two pages show this especially. By the time I started to loosen up, I was delirious from lack of sleep. ;;; Oh well. The important thing here is the narrative, not the art. Right. ;;;;
